Summary: Internal alternations. Parishes straddling border with Clackmannanshire: Stirling and part of Logie parish were transferred to Stirlingshire; Alva parish to Clackmannan. Parishes straddling the border with Perthshire: Kippen to Stirlingshire; Lecropt to Perthshire. New or East Kilpatrick, straddling boundary with Dunbartonshire was transferred to Dunbartonshire.
Details:
Orders made by the Boundary Commissioners for Scotland under Section 49 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1889. Orders shall come into operation for the purposes of School Board elections on the 1st day of February 1891, and for all other purposes on the 15th day of May 1891.

The parish of Logie was shared between the counties of Stirling, Clackmannan, and Perth. The parish was self-contained, but the adjustments necessary in consequence of the peculiar nature of the county boundaries which ran through the parish made an alteration in the parish boundaries necessary. It may be well here to summarise the changes, county and parochial, in which the parish of Logie is concerned.
(1.) Parish Changes.
(I.) The Blackgrange district of Logie parish has been transferred to the parish of Alloa, county of Clackmannan.

(2.) County Changes.
The whole parish of Logie, altered in area as above, has been placed in the county of Stirling.

The boundary between the main portions of the counties of Clackmannan and Perth is the same as formerly, except that where the county boundary formerly ran along the centre of the road between Alloa and Stirling it is now made to run first for some distance on the one side of that road and thereafter on the other.
(II.) The part of Logie situated in the detached part of Clackmannanshire has been transferred to Stirlingshire.
(III.) The Perthshire part of Logie has been transferred to Stirlingshire.
(IV.) The small part of Logie west of the Scottish Central Railway line has been transferred from Stirlingshire to Perthshire.
