The parish of Logie was situated partly in the county of Clackmannan, partly in the county of Perth, and partly in the county of Stirling. The Clackmannanshire part of the parish was in three portions. One was in the detached part of the county of Clackmannan situated at Causewayhead; it has been transferred to the county of Stirling, while remaining in the parish of Logie. The second consisted of the Menstrie district, adjoining the parish of Alva; it is retained in Clackmannanshire, but has been transferred from the parish of Logie to the parish of Alva. The third consisted of the Blackgrange property; it is retained in Clackmannanshire, but has been transferred from the parish of Logie to the parish of Alloa.
